The IEEE Student Branch University of Ioannina - Arta Branch participated with great success in the action "Learning Difficulties - Prevention, Diagnosis, Intervention", which took place on the 1st of June 2025, in the context of informing, raising awareness and strengthening the educational community around issues related to learning difficulties.

During the event, the Branch team helped implement the interactive STEM workshop "A Question of Balance", based on the IEEE TryEngineering course curriculum, and funded through IEEE STEM Grants. The workshop was aimed at teenagers and aimed to cultivate problem-solving skills, enhance creativity, and introduce basic concepts of engineering and balance.

The activity was implemented with the support of 7 Branch student volunteers and the participation of more than 15 children, who responded with enthusiasm and active involvement in all activities.

With initiatives like this, the IEEE Student Branch aims to empower all students, with or without learning disabilities, by promoting the values of inclusion, STEM education and equal access to knowledge.
