The IEEE Student Branch University of Ioannina | Arta is pleased to announce its participation in the important action entitled "Learning Difficulties - Prevention, Diagnosis, Intervention", which is organised by the center aλma, aiming to inform, prevent and support children and families facing learning difficulties.
As part of the action, IEEE SB will participate in the Sunday 01/06/2025 and hours 14:30 – 17:00, offering an interactive laboratory STEM for teenagers, με θέμα:
“A Question of Balance“
The workshop is implemented through the international educational programme TryEngineering and is part of the IEEE STEM Grant. Groups of students are asked to design and build a system that allows containers, such as jars, to be filled accurately to a certain weight or a specified number of objects, such as marbles or paper clips. Through this activity, students are introduced to basic concepts of engineering, measurement and control, making creative use of teamwork and logical thinking.
IEEE SB's participation in the action is part of our ongoing effort to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) knowledge at all ages and to contribute substantially to enhancing educational inclusion and equality.
The event is open to the public and is addressed to students, parents, teachers and professionals who are interested in being informed and involved in a comprehensive approach to learning difficulties.
