The Epirus XR Center and the IEEE Student Branch University of Ioannina – Arta, in collaboration with the Municipality of Arta, are issuing an open call to students, young people, and active citizens of the region to participate as volunteers in the DEI Tour of Hellas 2026, one of the most important international cycling races hosted in Greece.

This year’s event will take place from May 6 to 10, 2026, starting in Ioannina and ending in Athens. A significant part of the first stage of the race will pass through Arta, promoting the city and the wider region internationally through an event that attracts top athletes and international publicity.

In this context, volunteers are invited to support the event at various points along the route in the Municipality of Arta, contributing to the smooth and safe running of the race.

Amphitea

Limini

Agios Nikolaos

Sykoul

To support these points, more than 100 volunteers are expected to participate, who will contribute to the coordination and support of the event.

No previous experience is required—a willingness to participate, a smile, and a love of sports are enough.
