The first days of the event “Christmas with Mixed Reality,” organized by the Epirus XR Center and the IEEE Student Branch University of Ioannina | Arta, in collaboration with the Municipality of Arta, at the Municipality’s Christmas Village in Agios Dimitrios.

The enthusiastic response from young and old alike, the increased interest in Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) experiences, as well as the substantial participation of the public in the food drive, led to the continuation συνέχιση of the event for additional days, giving even more citizens the opportunity to participate.

New days & hours of action:

Friday: 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Saturday: 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Sunday: 10:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy unique interactive experiences through VR & AR applications, digital games, and educational content, in a festive environment that combines technology with the joy of Christmas.

At the same time, the initiative continues to actively support the message of solidarity, as it is part of the long–term food collection campaign organized by the Epirus XR Center and the IEEE Student Branch University of Ioannina | Arta in collaboration with the Municipality of Arta. The food will be distributed to families in need in the area.

The continuation of the initiative proves that when innovation, education, and social contribution come together, initiatives with a real impact on the local community are created.
