We are pleased to announce that four (4) members of the IEEE Student Branch University of Ioannina | Arta participated as team representatives in the Ideathon of the PIRAEUS Startup Accelerator, which took place in Ioannina on the weekend of 24-25 May 2025.

The two-day event focused on entrepreneurship, innovation and the creation of sustainable startup ideas, giving students and young professionals the opportunity to develop their proposals and present them to the public and the jury.

The Branch team was distinguished with its innovative idea, winning 3rd place in the competition and winning a prize money of 200€, which will be used to support the activities of the Student Branch.

This participation is yet another proof of the creativity, teamwork and high level of knowledge of our members, while at the same time it highlights the role of the IEEE Student Branch University of Ioannina | Arta as a vibrant, student community that fosters extroversion, innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.
