The IEEE Student Branch University of Ioannina | Arta will participate as a guest speaker in the event "Driving Innovation # Ioannina" event organized by Piraeus Startup Accelerator, which will take place on Thursday, March 6, at 3:00 p.m., in Ioannina, at JOIST Innovation Space (1 Konstantinoupolis Avenue).

The event is part of a series of actions to promote innovation and youth entrepreneurship, bringing together students, researchers, startups, professionals, and ecosystem stakeholders with the aim of creating synergies and promoting new ideas with a developmental footprint.

IEEE SB UOI Arta has been invited to participate in a panel discussion, where it will present the role of student initiatives in fostering innovation, the connection between technology and entrepreneurship, as well as the actions implemented at the Department of Informatics & Telecommunications of the University of Ioannina (Arta). Particular emphasis will be placed on the contribution of students to the creation of a dynamic technological ecosystem in Epirus, through actions, workshops, collaborations, and participation in national and international initiatives.
